What you will be doing

As a Product Manager at Nextory you will have an impact on all stages of the product development, from strategy to execution. Your main focus will be to define what we should build, as well as collaborating with the Engineering Manager and the rest of the team on how to build and deliver. This is an opportunity to join Nextory in a very interesting stage with a lot of existing things to come.

We are looking for a Product Manager for our User & Payment team. As a part of this team you will lead the work of developing the very backbone of our business model - our user database, subscription- and payments systems. The User & Payment team has the mission of ensuring the highest possible performance to deliver the best possible subscription experience for our users and business. To fulfill its mission the team needs to collaborate closely with several other product teams that are consuming the work of the team.

The position is based in Stockholm and you will report to the CPO.

Core responsibilities

- Ultimately, you’re responsible for the value and viability of the work in the User & Payment team

- Setting strategy and objectives for the User & Payment area to ensure alignment with the overall product strategy and business objectives

- Build deep domain-, business- and user knowledge within the team's mission and collaborate with all relevant stakeholders in order to do so

- Together with the Engineering Manager lead the team through both discovery and delivery, making sure the team has a healthy balance of long term innovation and short term optimizations and maintenance

- Be a missionary for the User & Payment team in the wider Nextory organization

- Together with your fellow product managers and the product- and engineering leadership, take part in developing the way we work, with the goal of improving our processes so we can deliver more value even faster

Who you are

- For the past 5 + years you’ve most likely been a product manager, preferably working within the platform and/or payment space in close relation with other product teams delivering a user-centric experience

- You’re obsessed with solving real problems! In order to find them and validate the solutions you’re well versed in applying a wide variety of modern product discovery techniques and analyzing data is second nature to you.

- You want to take an active role in all parts of the product development process and are comfortable having constructive and honest conversations with your team members, as well as stakeholders, external partners and senior leadership

- You have the ability to tackle complex problems, making realistic commitments on how to solve them and bring the passion and grit needed to ensure the problems get solved

- You’re a great communicator and storyteller, comfortable advocating for and sharing the team's work to a wider audience

- Most likely you have a strong technical background
