Our story begins with Shadi Bitar and Ninos Malki, who came to Sweden from Syria as kids and discovered that books could be a bridge - helping them learn the language, understand the culture, and explore new worlds.

And now, we’re on a quest to find an HR & Workplace Coordinator. Someone as passionate as we are about creating a welcoming, well-functioning workplace and supporting our people throughout their employee journey.

Let us tell you about the role 📖
As a HR and Workplace Coordinator at Nextory, you will make sure everything around our people and workplace runs smoothly. You will coordinate key HR processes, elevate the employee experience and bring energy and order to our Stockholm office. You will be part of our HR team, a collaborative and high-energy group - just look at us ⬇️

As HR & Workplace coordinator will be responsible for:

• Coordinating and administering people processes, HR documentation and day-to-day HR operations.

• Ensuring a smooth employee experience by maintaining organized and up-to-date HR systems, policies and records.

• Owning the Stockholm office environment. Keeping it structured, welcoming and well-functioning while managing suppliers, purchases, and practical administration.

• Planning and executing internal events and cultural initiatives that bring people together

The main character we’re looking for 👀
We believe you are a structured and organized person with a strong service mindset and great attention to detail. You naturally notice what needs to be done and take initiative to create a smooth and supportive environment. With your warm and approachable presence, you build trust easily and collaborate well across teams. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English.

Furthermore, we believe you have:

• Experience working with HR coordination and office management

• Experience coordinating events, communication or engagement initiatives

• Experience working with HRIS systems

• Strong skills in Excel and spreadsheets

We are based in Stockholm, Sweden, with offices in Paris and Bangalore. Our hybrid work policy includes four days in the office and Wednesdays as a work-from-home day.
